WeHubs is heading to ICT2015 in Lisbon together with the winners of our surveys awards
WeHubs is the First European Network of Women Web Entrepreneurs, powered by the Startup Europe Initiative and the EU Horizon 2020 programme. WeHubs seeks to support women to create and scale their web enterprises by encouraging business ecosystems in Europe to provide dedicated services to Women.
Last April the project launched two pan European surveys targeting both women web entrepreneurs and business support organisations in order to investigate the needs and challenges for boosting female web entrepreneurship in Europe. Two of the survey respondents had the chance to win the WeHubs Survey Award (namely a trip to Lisbon in order to attend the ICT 2015 event of the European Commission) by participating in a lottery that took place in the beginning of September.
The winners that were randomly selected among all the survey participants are:
- Marie Kjær Hansen, a woman web entrepreneur from Denmark who is the founder and CEO of PlanPenny (an online planning tool for professional tool).
- BIC Plzen from the Czech Republic, which is a business innovation center aiming at supporting innovative businesses in the region.
Now, WeHubs is preparing to travel to Lisbon together with the 2 Survey winners in order to present its activities and first results during the following sessions:
